A couple of weeks ago I shared the first completed painting in my commission triptych of baby animal art for a nursery, along with this sketch of the next painting–a baby rhino.

In keeping with the nursery theme, I am continuing to integrate a lot of color into my palette. The blues and greens compliment the orange and purple-y blues of the hippo painting quite nicely. You can check out that first blog post here: Art Painting In Progress: Zoo Art For Nursery.
